A warm welcome from Farm Road Pre-school
Farm Road Pre-school is a community based sessional kindergarten, with programs for three and four year old children.
We offer a play based program where all children can learn, thrive and develop to their full potential. We provide a warm, welcoming, caring and inclusive environment where all children and families feel a sense of belonging. We look forward to you becoming part of our Farm Road family.
From July 2019 to December 2019, City of Kingston renovated Farm Road Pre-school. This has provided our kinder with a larger indoor learning space and upgraded facilities, ready for the beginning of 2020. To find out more, please click the button below.

OUR PROGRAMS
A quality beginning for your child
3 YEAR OLD
PROGRAM
We provide a welcoming, caring and nurturing environment where all children can feel safe, secure and valued so they are confident to learn, explore and grow.
Through our play based 3 year old program children build self confidence, a love of learning, build friendships and develop a physical (fine and gross motor), cognitive, social, emotional and language development through both interest based experiences as well as intentional learning in both indoor and outdoor environments.
4 YEAR OLD
PROGRAM
Our 4 year old program is play based and the program content is centred around the children’s interests as well as intentional teaching. The program is rich and varied and provides the children with lots of opportunities to develop their skills, interests and knowledge in a stimulating environment.
Activities and learning experiences include art, music, dance, language experiences, cooking, incursions and excursions, a Perceptual Motor Program, sensory play, gardening and active outdoor play. Teachers work with parents to respond to each child’s individual needs and prepare them for school. The four-year-old program receives State Government Funding.
